  • Project Scope: The BlackHolistic project is a collaboration between astronomers from Namibia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Finland to build a new telescope in Namibia and make color movies of black holes. The project aims to create a more holistic understanding of black holes by making color movies of them .

2. Project Title: Principal of Effective Grant Writing and Research

  • Project Scope: The five-day consultancy workshop focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective grant proposal writing and research. The sessions aimed to improve participants' understanding of funding processes, donor requirements, and techniques for crafting compelling proposals to secure funding.
  • Key Responsibilities: My duty was to ensure the seamless execution of the workshop. This included managing logistics such as materials preparation, and participant registration. I coordinated daily schedules, liaised with facilitators and participants, and addressed any issues that arose to maintain a productive learning environment. Additionally, I oversaw resource allocation, tracked attendance, and ensured all administrative tasks, such as distributing evaluation forms and compiling feedback, were completed efficiently. My efforts focused on creating an organised and supportive atmosphere for both facilitators and participants.
