Sophia Khornauli

I love my work and enjoy interacting with people, especially children. Teaching them a new language has taught me a lot. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds and feel happy to help them learn. It's a wonderful experience to meet people from different parts of the world, learn about their cultures, and make a positive difference in their lives.

I had a babysitting job in Istanbul which helped me in studying the language and also provided a source of income to keep up with my financial situation. Though it was for a short period, it was a memorable experience for me. I believe that all my experiences, whether big or small, are equally important.

As a first-year student, I had the opportunity to participate in a project held by the Tbilisi municipality. Out of 300 applicants, I was the only first-year student chosen for the project. I participated because I wanted to gain experience in different ways, and since I was interested in politics, it was a good way to learn about what goes on behind the walls. During the project, I had the opportunity to witness different aspects of work. My goal was to acquire the experience that I gained from the internship.

I had one of the best experiences of my life working with a diverse group of individuals on various charity projects. These projects included assisting the elderly with their needs, collaborating with the International Red Cross to support children's development in mountainous regions, and partnering with the government to provide aid to those in need. One memorable project we worked on was Geographic Location, which focused on addressing the increased fear of abandonment felt by older individuals living in rural areas. This experience has motivated me to continue helping those in need and I strongly believe that we can make a difference in the world, even with small efforts.
