He has also handled project that requires distribution and transmission lines and substation designs, network and system stability studies, load flows and system protection settings while he was employed as an operation engineer at the City of Windhoek electrical distribution department up to 2007 and at NamPower as an Asset Maintenance Manager up to 2011.
On the other hand, he found and owns businesses that ranges from General trading, Information Communication & Technologies, Consultancy, Constructions, Aviation, Logistics & Transportation, Agriculture, Hospitality and Lodging, Training, Property Development, Security and Monitoring Services.
Hanhapo is a farmer in his owns rights. He owns and sussessfully operating Poultry Farms in Brakwater - Windhoek - Khomas Region and Omuthiya. - Oshikoto Region He also owns and commercially farming with cattle, sheep & goats as well as a game farm in Grootfontein District - Otjozondjupa Region. He is successfully running a cattle and goats farm in Mpungu District - Kavango West Region.
