• Maintain + repair fleet of 50+ Mercedes, Scania trucks, UD trucks, Faw trucks and trailers on Walvis Bay to South Africa, Botswana and Zambia routes.

• Conduct small, medium and large scheduled services and major repairs. Maintain 97%+ fleet availability for operations

• Diagnose complex electrical + engine faults using diagnostic software.

• Perform roadside breakdown repairs in Erongo region and follow lone worker safety protocols

• Complete job cards, service history, and parts requisitions on workshop system.

• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specs and Namibian roadworthy regulations.

• Performed maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Caterpillar C1.5, C2.2, C4.4 ACERT, and C6.6 ACERT marine diesel generator engines.
• Conducted preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and operational testing of auxiliary power generation systems.
• Ensured workshop cleanliness and promoting a safe working environment.

• Performed bumper to bumper maintenance on diesel fleet trucks as well as repaired minor and major components on vehicles such as serviced trucks, adjusted clutches, transmission, radiators, hub seals, and mounting.
• Inspected, diagnosed, and repaired trailer axels, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, and air system on Trucks.
• Greased and lubricated bearings and other moving components.

• Assisted mechanics with mechanical repairs such as brake systems, suspension components, batteries, belts, and alternators.
• Used automotive tools and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Followed safety procedures when lifting vehicles and handling tools in a professional shop environment.
