Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting with the generation of short-term plans in conjunction with long-term plans and life-of-mine plans.
• Providing technical and design inputs to the mining department
• Assisting with all operations, geology, and survey groups to implement the plan.
• Conducting technical studies on site: Assist with monitoring the open pit load and haul operations and all associated activities to ensure the long-term viability of the mine.
• Identifying opportunities for continual pit optimization.
• Ensuring that loading and hauling operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring that the operational objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and without any adverse effect on the environment.
• Assisting with the control of fragmentation and ore dilution within acceptable limits - quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC).
• Assisting senior mining engineers in overseeing the mining contractor’s performance (QAQC).
• Updating production data and preparing relevant reports accordingly.
• Assisting the mining engineers and technical service manager in day-to-day administration duties.
• Implementing industry best practices and Husab Mine’s SHEQ policies and procedures.

• Ensuring the achievement of daily and monthly targets in order to meet business requirements.

• Assisting the Mining Engineers and Technical Service Manager in day-to-day administration duties.
• Updating of production data and preparing relevant reports as required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Teaching and educating learners according to guidelines provided by the National Curriculum Framework under the overall guidance of the competent education authority.
• Teaching and educating learners according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual learners entrusted to his/her care by the Head of School.
• Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all learners in the classroom.
• Providing guidance and advice to learners on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers; providing information on sources of more expert advice.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behaviour of one’s learners.
• Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out by learners.
• Helping learners explore concepts with engaging, learning-focused activities.
• Developing and implementing classroom routines to address varying learners needs.
