• Support leading and managing Programme Team by effectively coordinating and liaising WFP operations and technical assistance to government and partners to ensure that vulnerable populations in Namibia are enabled to meet their food and nutrition needs. In this role, lead team of 12 staff, achievements in this role can be summarized as follows:
• Instrumental in advancing implementation of WFP Namibia Country Strategic Plan (CSP 2017-2024)
• Served as link (interface) between WFP and community creating brand awareness and opportunities through grass root and community-based efforts - successfully increased visibility and maintained positive reputation for WFP in all Namibia's 14 regions

• Improved WFP documentation and knowledge management resources to streamline engagements with partners and resource mobilization priorities through developing partnership action plan, conducting partnership review session, conducting private sector mapping, document partnership engagements, meetings and stakeholder activities and conduct partners feedback session
• Improved relations and collaboration with partners to accelerate project implementation and outcomes through regular exchange with partners

Experienced with all, online, tv, radio and print, through developing and distributing press releases, e-newsletters, articles and other marketing materials to promote WFP programmes as well as managing WFP social media accounts which increased Twitter followers by 20% in six months, resulting increase in website traffic
• Planned interactive workshops in collaboration with key partners on various programmes implemented, thereafter developed workshop reports that encompasses action plan for follow through processes and accountability on resolutions
• Led implementation of gender action plan as well as ensuring accountability to affected populations in all WFP’s programming
• Successfully navigated challenging conversations among diverse groups and build consensus - brought clarity to community stakeholders on targeting communication gaps and expectations
• Conducted numerous presentations and training sessions aimed at strengthening government and community capacities in participatory planning, beneficiary selection, governance structure, project implementation and M&E

• Coordinated and Chaired National Implementation team that led development of Cost of Hunger and Fill in Nutrient Gap Studies, this included lobbying for funding, technical inputs, stakeholder consultations, validations workshops and formatting of main and summary reports

• Provided leadership to onboarding of technical expertise supporting WFP and government programmes through onboarding and administration clearance, in addition to oversight on field missions

• Coordinated implementation on programmes promoting rural development targeting marginalized communities
• Led emergency response for over 500 000 households in 8 regions targeting PLHIV and food insecure households as well as nutrition campaigns for improved nutrition outcomes
• Conducted Post Distribution Monitoring assessments on crises response programmes
• Attended 3-month posting mission to Cameroon to learn more on humanitarian context, which improved skills for interacting with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and different context
• Supported partnerships, donor engagement and resource mobilization with European Union, USAID, Japan, Brazil, Korea, and German partners

Conducting research and developing policy briefs towards uplifting social welfare. These served as input for evidence-based advice to cabinet and ministries and offices. Coordinate and set national priorities by developing National Development Plans. In this role worked directly with various organizations at highest level and with technical teams. Achievements in this role can be summarized as follows.

· Worked closely with 14 regional councils to consult communities in identifying community development projects in all sectors, monitor their implementation, report their implementation and evaluate their progress e.g TIPEEG)

· Conducted research towards uplifting social welfare and reduced vulnerabilities

· Coordinated implementation and policy development for social sectors, food security, social protection, health, and Disaster Risk Reduction

· Reviewed NDP3 and coordinated the formulation of NDP4 and NDP5

· Advocated for priotising strengthening social safety nets too cover all vulnerable groups including thematic areas on food security, reducing extreme poverty and gender

· Delivering remarks on behalf of NPC at events, as well as representation on TV and radio, naturing public speaking skills

· Communicated complex ideas in a clear and concise manner through developing and delivering presentations that are both informative and engaging

Coordinate and supervise the development of budget implementation incorporating Public Investment Programmes for all 14 regional governments, this included capacity strengthening in project appraisals, design, implementation, management, and monitoring. My key achievements in this role can be summarized as follows:

• Spearheaded and drafted TIPEEG Programme – targeted intervention to support unskilled poor unemployed Namibians
• Translated economic evidence-based findings into comprehensible narrative to communicate policy and project development.
• Worked and presented report studying the root causes of poverty and Index of Multiple Deprivation studies
• Prepared, coordinated and supervised development of budget implementation incorporating Public Investment Programmes
• Conducted broad‐based economic research and prepared articles, digests and reports for management and Cabinet
• Utilized effective public speaking skills to explain complex economic concepts to broad range of audiences.
• Provided technical support to increase policy impact through high-level economic and public policy advice and analysis.
