3. Provide Customer service

· Ensure that a delivery analysis on customer outlets/receiving areas is done to achieve OTIF deliveries and customer satisfaction.

4. Manage Central Distribution Vehicles/Fleet

· Review daily planned route reports to ensure cost effective vehicle utilization.

· Oversee vehicle inspection reports and coordinate with the Distribution controller & Route planner for maintenance and services.

· Do accident reporting, investigations, and administration.

· Administer and manage fuel usage (Fuel Master) and record on KPI report.

· Ensure that proper driver debriefings are executed by the Route planner by means of regularly reviewing debriefing and provide reports.

· Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that distribution truck equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures without compromising on quality of work


5. Adherence to Health & Safety and Quality Assurance

· Develop and present Daily SHEQ reports to the DC manager.

· Responsible for overall health and safety in operations

· Certificates validity (Fire, First Aid etc.)

· Ensure that all operational activities meet quality standards and comply with company policies and regulations.

· Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of product quality during the distribution process.

· Ensure compliance to health and safety standards by the team e.g., wearing of PPE, safe working environment and housekeeping on the trucks, etc.
