  • Current position as Town planning Officer (Middle management) at the Municipality of Walvis Bay (from 01 October 2006 till present).
  • Acted on several occasions as Town Planner in the absence of the than Town Planner (Ms K Asino) and so also (Mrs H Hitula).
  • Successfully completed the advanced international training programme (Financing and Management of Local Infrastructure Initiatives) May 21-June 08, 2007; KTH and Swedesurvey, Sweden and September 17-October 02, 2007; University of Botswana, Botswana. Under the auspices and sponsorships of Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency). Which majorly focused on innovative building methods for low-cost, middle and high income housing projects.
  • Attended the annual conference on free and open source software for geo-spatial applications, presented by Geo-Information Society of South Africa (GISSA) and Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo).
  • Exceptional knowledge in the build environment on construction and evaluations of building plans for the whole of Walvis Bay.
  • Current chairperson of the Aesthetics Committee of Walvis Bay, which is tasked to evaluate building plans from an aesthetics and design perspective.
  • Lead the team that did major policy and procedure reviews on building controls.
  • Project management of major capital projects involving appointments of consulting engineers, surveyors, quantity surveyors, town planners and environmentalists.
  • Part of the task team of the revision and improvement of the Informal Trade Policy of the Municipality of Walvis Bay.
  • Part of task team that successfully revised and implemented Integrated Urban Spatial Development Framework of Walvis Bay.
  • Can lodge application at any time with the various Professional Councils of Architects based on qualification and experience.
