Cristin Baumann

I was a dedicated student at Windhoek High School. I am adept at multitasking and critical thinking, significantly enhanced my group activity abilities, and easily adaptable to a new environment. I leveraged art and creativity alongside strong research abilities to support innovative communication skills, achieving notable improvements in public speaking as well. I work well with people and thrive in any environment.

I am no lazy person, I grew up with two well educated parents, with multiple degrees, they have raised me that way and I am currently underway applying at various universities, which I assure you i will be accepted to, My family taught me everything school could not. I am your best bet.

I have significant sports accomplishments including:

• four gold medals in swimming
• I played hockey and made it to semi- finals, where I received bronze and silver medals
• I competed in the science fair and won 1st and second place over the years, this includes me being awarded with gold and silver medals, including certificates.

As a child growing up, I had both my grandmothers as painters which sparked my interest in art and drawing , I started painting,drawing and working with my grandmother making little projects at a very young age. I progressed significantly in drawing, and started designing houses on software programmes later on. I have become quite proficient in my designing, apart from creative designing, I do side jobs designing advertisements, invites, wedding programmes, welcome signs etc, by request for various people that take interest in my work.

My dad studied microbiology and zoology, I always used to page through his textbooks and took up biology in high school, he is also the reason I took part in science fairs, and then realization hit me to how much I love everything about biology, we used to do little experiments at our old home, we grew bacteria, and one of my favourite projects was when he taught me about the human heart, even before I started high school. My dad was a lab technician at Hangana in Walvis Bay. All the work he did in that sector just grew my interest and I have loved it ever since.
