Over the years at the PSS, I predominantly taught English and Mathematics. In 2009 I was appointed Phase Head for the Senior Primary Phase. This position included the efficient planning and running of the phase, administrative tasks, staff development and recruitment, curriculum overview as well as communication with students and parents.

I started as a class teacher for a grade 4 group in 1997.
In 1998 I was appointed subject head for the Junior Primary Phase which entailed management of grades 1 – 4, the subsequent teaching staff as well as communication with parents.
I like to recharge by reading a good book or emerging myself in nature by means of either gardening or going on a camping trip to discover new places and observe animals in their natural environment.
