• Working in private practice with a focus on learning delays and developmental delays. I am currently also working with adults with mental health conditions and in vocational rehabilitation.
• Assessing individual abilities for better understanding of therapeutic needs.
• Implemented ongoing professional development strategies; stayed up to date on current research in occupational therapy.
• Maintain detailed records to track patient progress over time accurately.
• Collaborating with multi-diciplinary teams, contributing to comprehensive patient care.

• Working mainly with adults performing Functional Capacity Evaluations, Vocational Rehabilitation and Pain Management.

I decided to focus on being a stay-at-home mother for my son, who was born in August 2015. It was important for me to focus all my time, energy and expertise on the well-being, development and nurturing of my son.

I was also diagnosed with Cancer in November 2016 and took this time to focus on my treatment (radiation, chemotherapy, operations), my well-being and recovery.

• Worked at Windhoek Central Hospital with main focus on developmental delays, learning delays, paediatric burns, paediatric oncology, premature infants and other congenital disorders. Formed part of the Club Foot Clinic and Wheelchair seating clinic.

• Worked at Tafelberg Remedial School in Panorama, Cape Town; with learner with special educational needs and learning disabilities.

• Community outreach therapeutic services in Paediatrics and Physical area of practice.

• Community outreach therapeutic intervention services in Paediatrics, Physical and Geriatrics area of practice.

• Completion of community service year, post completion of studies, for the purpose of registration as a independent practicing Occupational Therapist.
