• Offered exclusive mobile veterinary services in and around Windhoek to companion and production animals.
• Performed non invasive scheduled and emergent surgeries on small animals and horses.
• Reviewed pet health history, examined animals, conducted tests and prescribed treatments for diagnosed conditions.
• Developed dietary and nutritional plans to help animals reach and maintain optimal weight.
• Worked with final year Onderstepoort veterinary students as they performed their practical rotations with me.
• Practiced veterinary medicine with emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management and emergency medicine in small animals.
• Worked with local animal rescue organizations such as Have a Heart, SNOUT project and Triglav trust.

I had the absolute privellage to help out on the mobile animal clinic on various occasions.

I went on a few trips in and around Windhoek with the Mobile clinic to perform anaesthesia and surgical preparations of all animals that signed up for the spay and neuter program as well as perform client education with regards to disease prevention and the benefits of getting their pets sterilized

As part of the final year UNAM veterinary rotations, students joined in on some of the trips and I was able to aid and educate them as they completed their Mobile Animal Clinic rotations.

• Completed my clinical rotation year which included rotations in small animal practice, large animal practice, diagnostics, anesthesiology, surgery, pathology, parasitology, equine medicine, reproduction in both small and large animals and veterinary public health
• Chose Theriogenology in equines and Wildlife as my electives.
• Made top 3 out of my year for my clinical rotations with a score of 80%
• Quickly learned new skills and applied them to daily tasks, improving efficiency and productivity.
• Thrived in the fast-paced and high case load environment, that provided me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and learn new skills.
• Worked flexible hours; night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.
