I learnt various methods to interact and engage with students during my job shadowing week in kindergarten and primary school.

• Taught the idea of a safe space which is used for kids to calm down. They may read a book or something less distracting
• Taught the use of physical applications in mathematics- minus and plus sums are shown to the youngster by dealing out the sticks used
• Students were taught to reflect every day as they write down what they have done so far so that by the end of the month they can see their progress
